Podcsts and Audio- week 10

I would like to play music, try some eAudiobooks and podcasts on my MP3 player. I do have the learning desire after taking this ocls learning 2.0 course. Thank you for this learning experience.

Digital Music- week 9

I'm not sure on Copyright Laws. I can see both sides. Artist like everyone else needs protection for their work. But I also like the idea of listening to the music to see if I like it and would be interested in buying it.

Sharing information- week 8

I'm enjoyng learning about Flickr, seeing other technologies, other staff pictures and ideas. It's fun seeing peoples view of this course and being able to comment. You can see our department pics under 101central special services. On to week 9.

week 6-the great library thing

This lesson showed how organized we can be with free web services and what some web services can offer. Shelfari is a virtual shelf to show off your books, connect with people and see titles of other books. Bookmooch can help you share books that you may no longer want and receive books you do want. Lots of interesting ideas out there.

Moving on to week 4

It was interesting to see that OCLS is on Myspace and Youtube. What a marvelous tool for communication without having to interrupt anyones schedule or time consrictions. I also liked with SEOmoz that you can see all the websites in a list of catagories and summarizes on what they are. The last 2 lessons have had a lot of reading and moving around to different sites. It has been time consuming but enjoyable. This process of learning OCLS 2.0 has been eye and mind opening learning for me. I'm glad the library administration has allowed this for the staff.

Week 3 OH BOY!

Week 3 on Learn 2.0 we looked at Bloglines and Grokker. Bloglines is a free service which is always a good thing, that lets you get RSS feeds. Bloglines gives you a lot of choices of feeds to pick from. Some feeds I chose were Bloglines News, Fool. com: The motlely fool, and Library Leader. I'm impressed with the way it is set up,all in one location. Learning as I go.
